proud owners St. Katharine Boat Barcelona

In Ireland in 2006 we purchased a tough 80ft former Fleet Tender (ex. supply ship of the Royal Navy). We sailed her to the Netherlands in 72 hours non-stop and moored her in Stellendam.

During the 2 years following she underwent a complete refit! We worked with a number of people almost non-stop to strip and rebuild the whole ship into a luxurious motor yacht with accommodation for max. 11 persons (5 spacious double cabins, 4 bathrooms of which 3 en-suite and 1 sofabed for a child up to 14 years old).

Once the St. Katharine was ready we made plans to take our beautiful ship to southern Europe! This had been always our dream and with her spacious decks, jacuzzi, air-conditioning and great insulation, she was made to be in the Mediterranean!

In January 2012, we started with all the preparations to sail the St. Katharine to Barcelona and 25th of June (2012) she left Stellendam with Cas and a few mates for Marina Port Forum Barcelona! After 12 days almost non-stop sailing, they arrived the 8th of July in Port Forum Barcelona.

Barcelona is a fantastic and vibrant city with so much to see and to do and an "around the year destination" with cheap flights from almost all European countries.

When staying on the St. Katharine, Cas will check you in and can prepare delicious breakfast every morning with warm bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and a home-made fruit salad. Do ask for his Spanish style eggs or Full-English breakfast, you will not regret it.

Other meals like light tapas menu upon arrival and his famous 3-course Paella menu can be booked on requested.

We are very proud of our St. Katharine in Barcelona and
do our best to make sure our guests have a fantastic holiday.
So, please do get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
